We have an exciting opportunity for you to join a team dedicated to achieving just that!

If successful you’ll be one of the team working for Safe and Sound Dorset – a local charity that supports and empowers women isolated or at risk in the community.

Based in Boscombe you’ll meet with women in our creative community sessions, where you will recruit, support, train and supervise our volunteers, helping with the whole process of volunteering (applying, DBS and reference checking etc.)

About you:

As one of our team you’ll have excellent communication and listening skills, an outgoing personality, a kind, friendly yet efficient style and the ability to establish a rapid rapport with a diverse range of people. We value all women and work collaboratively with volunteers and service users encouraging their own personal development. You will be considerate

and discreet as we often deal with sensitive issues.

Your salary will be £12 per hour for 16 hours a week, which includes contributions to a pension scheme, with 4 weeks paid holiday plus all bank holidays.
